Application:
A rotary crusher with "dovetail" knives is universal and suitable for most polymers (LDPE, HDPE, stretch films, polypropylene bags and big bags, PET bottles, vials, canisters, etc.).

For processing contaminated raw materials, we offer wash crushers in a reinforced wear-resistant housing. This series is equipped with a water supply system for effective washing of the material during the crushing process.
Knife material: tool and alloy steels 65G, 9KhS, 9siCr, 6KhV2S, KhVG, Kh12MF. Spare sets of knives are always available for order.
We also perform custom design of crushers according to your technical specifications or ready-made drawings.
⚙️ Operating principle of the crusher:

Loading stage: Polymer material is fed into the hopper and, under its own weight, moves toward the rotor, which rotates around a horizontal axis.

Grinding stage: The rotor rotates inside the crushing chamber, equipped with calibration screen (sieve). Pieces of material are caught by the knives and crushed thanks to a combination of impact and shearing.

Unloading stage: After reaching the required size, the material is sifted through the screen, falls into the discharge hopper, and is removed from the crushing chamber.
Note: The crusher can be used as a standalone piece of equipment or as part of an automated recycling line.
